On the ancient road connecting Lucca to Pisa, stands Villa La Dogana. Typical Tuscan country house, villa, was born as a summer residence of the Princes Orsini of Rome. The story goes that to achieve the noble family became even build a small station in front of the house. Today the station is a little further afield but still easily accessible on foot, and is very nice reach, with colorful trains that travel this route, the art cities of Pisa, Lucca and Florence and Versilia or still spas of Montecatini and San Julian. The scents of a culture of life now lost volumes of the breath and calming serene, wide open to catch the rhythm of the landscape and the richness of a park out of sight of most of Villa La Dogana are the perfect place to rediscover the spirit of the most ancient holiday in Tuscany.

Room

A theory of peaceful and pacifying, marked by the Tuscan tradition, in a composition of subdued colors and elegance characterize the interior of the villa. The ancient terracotta floors, wooden beamed ceilings and all the family furniture has been recovered and restored. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating, TV, double bed for double or twin rooms with French suites. All rooms have private bathroom with large shower and hairdryer.

Il Giglio: Ground Floor. Side Park. Suite with two large windows overlooking the park and a French door that allows access to large terrace from which you can go directly to the garden.

The Magnolia: Ground Floor. Street Side. It consists of three different environments.

The Wisteria: Ground Floor. Street Side.

Hydrangea: First Floor. Side Park. Large suite with sitting area and sleeping area and five great windows overlooking the park.

La Camelia: First Floor. Street Side. Suite has a living room and communicating.

Nearby you can enjoy prestigious villas surrounded by magnificent parks and gardens and ancient Romanesque churches and the magnificent Tuscan countryside. Upon request, the Customs Villa, you can create small daily itineraries on foot or by bicycle. Nearby, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, horseback riding, river for fishing and you will have bicycles for pleasant walks along the river park or along country roads.
